Academic Life
Small classes, steady work
Classes average 28 learners. Homework is set daily from Grade 3 and checked the following morning. Foundation phase learners are assessed continuously rather than through formal tests.

Sport
Fields, courts and cross-country
Soccer, netball, cricket and cross-country run through the year, with fixtures against town and farm schools. The school hosts the district cross-country meeting each August.

Activities
Clubs and outings
The reading club, marimba band, chess club and environmental club meet weekly. Grade 7 learners go on a three-day camp in the Drakensberg foothills each September.
